EMTECH EFFECT

INCUBATION SYSTEMS HATCHERY VENTILATION

What is the Emtech Effect?

The EmTech Effect is the superior quality and quantity of the chicks hatched from EmTech Seers and Hatchers. Recent results have shown exceponal improvements in chick numbers, 7 day mortality and FCR. (COBB 500 – 34 WEEK FLOCK) 6,000 5,000 4,000 At EmTech we pride ourselves on great design, excellent raw materials, honest approach and no gimmicks. The EmTech Effect may sound like a markeng invention but it is certainly not. Just ask our customers.

What is the Emtech Effect 0.6 C?

EmTech systems provide a temperature bandwidth of no greater than 0.6°C within the egg mass, the benefit being that all the developing embryos experience exactly the same environmental condions so they all hatch within a very short hatch window. EmTech systems are proving every day that the ghter the hatch window the be er the quanty, quality and livability of the chicks. Forget the gimmicks, ghet hatch window is the best indicator that you have got it right – simple as that.

How Do we Achieve This?

EmTech incubator cabinets are different – they do not use an aluminium framework, which can act as a thermal bridge taking heat away from where it is needed and unbalancing the internal environment. EmTech uses interlocking PIR panels that eliminate thermal losses, cold air pockets and condensaon, while also providing 30% beer thermal insulaon than most other systems. The layout of all EmTech incubators with only one trolley posioned, end-on, each side of the central fan gives the best airflow to every single egg regardless of where it is posioned within the trolley. The EmTech se er has high quality air inlet and exhaust dampers along with an improved seal door seal design. This promotes good levels of moisture and early percentage concentraon of Co2.

Now Add the Latest Technology

Now we couple our excellently engineered incubator with Eclipse controls and the latest in P L C t e c h n o l o g y t h a t incorporates variable fan-speed and forward and reverse functionality. This now gives us the capability to not only adjust the speed and direcon of the paddle fans in relaon to heang and cooling loads but also to match it to each stage of the incubaon process.

FEATURES

Extensive experince and a commitment to quality, we ensure the successfu implementation of construction projects in the agricultural sector.

Unique cabinet design for optimal performance and temperature uniformity, withair-tight door seals, belt aperture and dampers to allow a fast warm-up and advanced CO2 concentration.

Four hairpin electric heater elements are mounted on each paddle frame – this provides 6kW of heating per section to quickly reach incubation temperature

The paddle frame has a bi- directional fan blade with fan speed control, allowing an automated forward and reverse facility for excellent temperature. control.

High capacity cooling coils provide each control section with a three-stage cooling utilising three flow rates for maximum efficiency of energy consumption and control.

Available only with Eclipse® control – an Omron PLC based system that can be operated manually or infully automated mode. The twenty step staged program facility is a very powerful and flexible tool, allowing the user to fine tune the incubation control process.

Individual trolley actuators give optimum turning angles even on uneven floors. The trolley fault etection and turning alarm systems give continuous and accurate monitoring of the tray turning process.

Excellent hatchery results from hatcheries worldwide have fuelled the PrimoTech’s growing reputation for reliability and increased numbers of beautifully conditioned, highquality chicks that consistently hatch in a short time frame. This ensures that all chicks are unstressed, hydrated and ready for the farm. This is no accident – considerable effort has gone into the cabinet design and construction to create a highly stable incubation environment.

Bio-security, ease of cleaning and maintenance has been addressed at every stage of the PrimoTech development from cabinet design, trolleys, and access to services.
